Trolls, Demons, Faeries, Dragons. Every creature of myth, legend and folklore is real, and has existed on Earth for longer than humanity. But over the millenia, as humanity grew more populous and powerful, they would ever display their penchant for conquest and cruelty. Some time thousands of years ago, all the strange creatures of magic and mystique chose to go into hiding, taking refuge in the dark corners and hidden growths of the wild, and becoming the things spoken of only in rumor and tale.

Now, thousand of years later, humanity has simply grown too big. Too much wild land is disappearing, and the creatures of the wild are running out of places to hide. Conflict is emerging. Sightings and unexplainable phenomena are becoming more common every year. For now, these instances are still the stuff of conspiracy and conjecture, but for how long?

Seeing disaster creeping ever closer, Gaia, Mother of all forests, created five new beings. Born from plants, formed into powerful beasts, and raised by humans, these five were made to serve as both warriors and ambassadors in the growing conflict between humanity and monsters; to defend life and fight for peace and justice, no matter which side that puts them on.
